Executive Benefits Producer
Gallagher’s Executive Benefits Practice consults with organizations on solutions to retain, motivate, and recruit key leaders who drive the success of the organization. These solutions help bridge the retirement gap between an employer's traditional savings plans and the highly compensated employee's actual retirement income need. Both nonprofit and for‑profit entities can take advantage of executive benefit solutions such as:

The role of the Executive Benefits Producer is to understand prospect and client organizations’ needs and challenges. The Producer leverages Gallagher’s Proactive People Strategy value proposition and cross‑division capabilities to build, retain and expand their book of business, while developing a personal brand that reflects Gallagher’s high‑achieving, collaborative, and innovative culture.

- Collaboration with experts in Pharmacy, Voluntary Benefits, Retirement Services, Human Resources Consulting, and other specialty areas to grow knowledge and win business.
- Career advancement opportunities as you build your book of business.
- Networking with leading professionals, planning for the future, and earning financial reward for successful sales.
- Consultant ownership of your book of business, with account management support to maintain 10‑20% annual book growth.
- Act as an entrepreneur developing a book of business from your own contacts in specific verticals or employer sizes.
- Establish and maintain a new business pipeline of qualified leads exceeding four times the goal, updating pipeline information weekly.
- Conduct client discovery confidently with CEOs, CFOs, CHROs and other key stakeholders.
- Consult clients independently and recognize opportunities to bring in other subject‑matter experts.
- Schedule monthly check‑ins and briefings with the Client Service team to keep account status current.
- Take responsibility for scheduling internal client account review meetings, ensuring prescribed processes are completed.
- Include executive sponsors as appropriate.
- Quarterly (or as needed) brief the Regional Sales Leader and Area President/Area EVP on key account status.
- Embrace and partner with the Gallagher Benefit Services organization:
- Within 30 days, identify a supportive internal network of peers, consultants, and leaders for guidance and advice.
- Within 60 days of completing Proactive People Strategy training, introduce Organizational Wellbeing concepts to prospects and clients, and provide introductions to relevant Gallagher SMEs.
- Within six months, identify a Gallagher Global Broking (GGB P&C) Producer to partner with, initiating warm introductions for GBS clients and requesting reciprocal introductions to GGB clients.
- Within six months, gain introductions to division‑level resource leaders across the Proactive People Strategy model.
- Identify one or more divisional initiatives of personal interest to participate in within the first 12 months, measuring growth of your personal brand by project scope and engagement.
- Know your competition, provide win/loss information, and schedule post‑presentation reviews that include all Gallagher participants.
- Regularly solicit feedback on performance in client‑ and colleague‑facing settings.
- At each stage—prospecting, proposal, account management—train junior team members, emphasizing client value, compliance, and ethical conduct.
- Speak up regarding succession opportunities and provide guidance to leaders seeking rewarding career progression.
