Senior Specialist – Account Management

Position overview

The role provides day‑to‑day support for account management activities, ensuring account teams are well‑prepared for client discussions and enabling senior consultants to focus on strategic engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support development of account and client intelligence, client research, and executive relationship mapping.
  • Coordinate logistics for account team meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and materials preparation.
  • Document client updates, account team discussions, and follow‑up actions, and ensure timely dissemination to account teams.
  • Maintain CRM and account management systems and account plans, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and account visibility.
  • Track client opportunities, account activities, and growth indicators.
  • Identify trends and support reporting insights.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and supporting materials for account management meetings and leadership reviews.
  • Collaborate with AVPs and Sales Operations to ensure consistent, accurate reporting across accounts.
  • Support account management training, onboarding, and adoption of account planning tools and processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of account management processes and tools.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of relevant and related experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear summaries and materials.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with account managers, consultants, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated professional judgment, integrity, and commitment to supporting client engagement activities.
Additional Information

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Physical Requirements:

Work is generally performed sitting, talking, hearing, and typing with reasonable accommodations. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data, and transcribe/at computer terminal; extensive reading.

Travel Required:

Occasional 0‑10%.

Location:

The role is based in Chicago or Denver and requires 3 days per week in office. Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and home office settings.

Compensation:
Current salary range for this role is $60,000 to $100,000.
