Client Engagement Executive, Performance Partnership
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and is responsible for leading complex, high-visibility client engagements that drive operational performance, contractual outcomes, and long-term partnership success. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders, internal cross-functional teams, and Performance Partnership resources to deliver measurable business results, support client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, client-focused leader with strong operational consulting experience, executive presence, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments while influencing stakeholders across highly matrixed organizations.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for executive client stakeholders, including C-suite and VP-level leaders.
- Develop and execute engagement strategies aligned to client priorities, operational goals, and Performance Partnership objectives.
- Facilitate executive governance meetings, business reviews, and operational discussions focused on performance improvement and value realization.
- Identify operational risks, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities while developing mitigation and action plans.
- Support client retention and business growth through strategic relationship management and identification of expanded partnership opportunities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required, advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in consulting, client engagement leadership, operational improvement, project leadership, or related client-facing roles.
- Proven experience leading complex client engagements with significant operational and business impact.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead within matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability and willingness to travel – expected to travel up to 50% - 75% with overnight stays
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must live near a major airport
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Strong health system business and financial acumen (i.e., knowledge of healthcare service lines, profit and loss centers, balance sheets, capital/operational planning). Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a "general manager's" point of view; effective at structured problem solving and critical thinking.
- Strong problem-solving skills and able to implement innovative solutions to client problems. Ability to analyze client commercial capabilities, identify root cause and growth tool opportunities.
- Experience working in the healthcare industry, including interaction with hospital administration (e.g., account management, relationship-building experience).
- Experience maintaining flexible approach when faced with business or client course corrections (e.g., client cost-out initiatives, industry economic conditions, healthcare reform legislation).
- PMP certification is a plus.

The annual salary range for this role is $175,000 - $195,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
