Position SummaryExecutive Assistant & Events Manager – support the CEO and lead all event strategy, logistics, and execution. Coordinate travel, schedules, and behind‑the‑scenes operations for senior leadership, while owning the full event lifecycle from concept to post‑event analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate CEO and senior leadership schedules, travel, and other administrative needs.
- Plan and execute all firm‑wide and partner events, including venue selection, contracts, catering, AV, and attendee communications.
- Build and maintain an events calendar and project plans; manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Develop and administer event budgets, reconciling expenses post‑event.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Partner teams to align event messaging and collateral.
- Collect and analyze post‑event feedback to provide actionable recommendations.
- 3–5 years of corporate event‑planning experience, with ownership of large, multi‑day events (100+ attendees).
- Demonstrated ability to manage end‑to‑end event logistics, including venue contracts and day‑of execution.
- Strong organizational skills with a system‑based approach (checklists, trackers, timelines).
- Comfortable with ambiguity and last‑minute changes; highly responsive during event periods.
- Local to Chicago or actively relocating; must be available in person for event nights, weekends, and occasional evenings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to speak with senior leaders and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Co‑Pilot).
- Independent decision maker with high emotional intelligence and genuine care for others.
Anticipated pay range: $95,000–$110,000 annually.
