The team builds and manages a home‑grown digital platform that calculates compensation, tracks performance, and delivers insights for insurance producers (agents and employee sales teams). It operates within a broader ecosystem of interconnected products and partners closely with Finance and Distribution business stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant, and scalable compensation outcomes.

About

the Role

We’re looking for a Digital Product Manager (DPM) to own and evolve the Producer Incentive Compensation Engine, focused on bonus and incentive pay calculations. This is a highly visible role where you will act as the “CEO of your product,” owning strategy, discovery, roadmap, and delivery while balancing business priorities, technical capabilities, and compliance needs. You will drive both big‑picture product vision and day‑to‑day execution, enabling accurate and transparent compensation for thousands of producers across the enterprise.

What

You’ll Own
  • Monthly and annual incentive programs for agents and employee producers
  • Non‑cash awards and performance‑based payouts
  • Business‑critical (financial impact, SOX‑compliant) product built on a modern architecture (APIs, microservices, Kafka, Java stack)
  • Actively evolving with automation and AI‑driven capabilities
What You’ll Do
  • Define and drive product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Lead product discovery, problem definition, and outcome alignment with stakeholders
  • Translate complex compensation rules into clear product features and user stories
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver iterative, high‑quality solutions
  • Own product health, accuracy, and adoption metrics
  • Navigate trade‑offs and prioritization in a highly regulated, time‑sensitive domain
  • Champion human‑centered design and modern digital experience patterns
  • Collaborate across teams to manage dependencies and deliver within a broader ecosystem
What You Bring (Required)
  • 5+ years of digital product management experience
  • Experience as a Digital Product Manager owning end‑to‑end product delivery
  • Strong ability to bridge strategy and execution (big picture + detailed delivery)
  • Proven experience in product discovery and roadmap development
  • Agile delivery, backlog management, and story writing with experience in XP, Scrum or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of product–platform–API integration patterns
  • Root‑cause analysis and data‑driven decision‑making capability
  • Stakeholder facilitation and cross‑functional alignment experience
  • Technical fluency (APIs, data flows, system interactions) with ability to partner effectively with engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to define and measure outcomes
What Sets You Apart (Preferred)
  • Experience with financial systems, compensation platforms, or rule‑based engines
  • Experience delivering on the Outcome‑Based Delivery (OBD) model
  • API‑based integration engine experience
  • Background in complex, regulated environments (e.g., SOX, finance, insurance)
  • Exposure to modern architecture (microservices, event‑driven systems)
  • Interest or experience in automation, AI, or data‑driven product optimization
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate complex domains with multiple dependencies
