Customer Service Representative - AM Shift

Job Description

Join a dynamic team in the National Campaigns Unit, providing crucial shareholder communications for public companies. This role involves supporting the Fall Proxy, assisting companies in managing their annual meetings and voting processes. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be pivotal in helping companies communicate key voting issues to shareholders, distributing proxy materials, collecting votes, and ensuring secure vote recording.

Responsibilities

+ Assist companies in communicating with shareholders about voting issues.

+ Distribute proxy materials and ensure secure vote collection via various methods.

+ Handle printing and mailing of proxy statements and annual reports.

+ Facilitate shareholder communications through inbound, outbound, and email responses.

+ Provide clarity and assistance to shareholders regarding voting processes.

+ Manage inquiries about voting methods and ballot items, such as board elections and executive compensations.

+ Support the organization and execution of Board of Directors meetings, including registration and vote tabulation.

Essential Skills

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

+ Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a contact center environment.

+ At least 6 months of recent outbound call experience.

+ Strong persuasion skills to encourage shareholders to vote.

+ Clear and professional speaking voice, with the ability to read scripts verbatim.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work with dual monitors.

+ Ability to multitask, read, speak, and take notes simultaneously.

+ Adaptability to fast-paced and stressful environments.

Skills & Qualifications

+

Experience with Genesys Cloud is preferred.

+ Capability to de-escalate situations and remain calm under pressure.

+ Willingness to work EST hours from any US location, except California.

+ Must own a USB headset and a second monitor.

Work Environment

Work remotely from anywhere in the US, except California, adhering to EST hours. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The role requires handling both inbound and outbound calls, providing a multi-functional experience. All agents will receive a Dell laptop, but candidates must supply their own USB headset and second monitor.

A reliable internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
