Design Architect

JLK Architects, a Chicago‑based, woman‑owned, full‑service architectural design firm, is hiring a Design Architect for its Architecture & Interior Design practice area.

The Design Architect will manage design coordination with our Principal and lead teams of architects and designers on a variety of projects throughout Chicago and the northeastern Illinois region. Projects include large‑scale new design and construction for both private and public clients, renovations of existing buildings, and public streetscape and placemaking design.

Mid‑to‑Senior‑Level: $90,000 – $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

• 7‑10+ years of architectural experience, including project management
• Licensed Architect
• Professional experience in Revit
• Self‑motivated team player who enjoys learning and takes pride in their work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Chicagoland‑based (hybrid work available)

• Experience supporting projects in Transit & Infrastructure or Historic Preservation Architecture & Planning
