The Project Executive contributes to space planning and design development, supports preconstruction activities, and plays a key role in mentoring junior team members while traveling as needed to support project needs.

Responsibilities

+ Partner with senior designers and clients to define project goals, scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.

+ Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project timelines so that key milestones are clearly defined and consistently met.

+ Create scopes of work and support budgeting, estimating, and subcontractor selection to set projects up for successful delivery.

+ Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, vendors, and engineers throughout design and preconstruction to maintain clear communication and alignment.

+ Assist in space planning and design development while ensuring all design decisions adhere to established budget requirements.

+ Track project financials, monitor costs, and proactively identify potential cost or profitability concerns to protect project performance.

+ Prepare budgets, schedules, contracts, and other project documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.

+ Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and subcontractor submissions for quality, completeness, and compliance with project standards.

+ Support the seamless handoff of projects to construction and project management teams, ensuring all information is clear and complete.

+ Participate in site visits, client meetings, and construction coordination activities as needed to resolve issues and keep projects on track.

+ Mentor junior team members, provide guidance on project processes, and actively support their professional development.

+ Travel as required to support project needs, including client meetings, site visits, and coordination with external partners.

Essential Skills

+ 6-10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong focus on healthcare projects.

+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

+ Proficiency in Revit and experience with architectural design and construction documentation.

+ Strong background in architecture, construction, and design-build project delivery.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook.

+ Comfortable interacting directly with clients and building strong professional relationships.

+ Strong ability to influence, negotiate, and drive successful outcomes with diverse stakeholders.

+ Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

+ Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to present information clearly.

+ High level of organization with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

+ Self-motivated, energetic, and driven to achieve results in a performance-driven environment.

+ Demonstrates a strong work ethic and commitment to following established processes and standards.

+ Proven track record of success in a goal-oriented, performance-driven setting.

+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working within a fully integrated design-build environment where architects, designers, project managers, and construction professionals collaborate closely.

+ background in healthcare-focused projects and interest in further specializing in the healthcare sector.

+ Ability to wear multiple hats and contribute across different phases of the project rather than working in a highly siloed role.

+ Collaborative mindset with a desire to support and learn from a strong, supportive team culture.

+ Comfort working directly with leadership and taking ownership of project outcomes.

+ Interest in gaining visibility into projects from initial client programming through construction completion.

+ Adaptability and flexibility to adjust work patterns as project and personal needs evolve.
