DescriptionThe Emory University Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, in collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is seeking a clinical neonatologist to join our faculty. The faculty member will contribute to the clinical, research, and teaching missions of the Division of Neonatology and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with clinical coverage in the NICU and participation in student, resident, and fellow education.
Qualified candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent and must be board‑certified/board‑eligible in Neonatal‑Perinatal Medicine. Salary and professional level of appointment will be commensurate with experience. Candidates should have a history of academic excellence and will be expected to work collaboratively.
The Division of Neonatology is a large and diverse group with more than 75 faculty, neonatal nurse practitioners, clinical fellows, and administrative staff. Our division is committed to providing outstanding clinical care at our three Emory‑affiliated hospitals:
Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory Midtown, and Arthur M. Blank Children’s Hospital. Each year we support more than 9,000 deliveries and more than 1,500 admissions to our intensive care units, and see more than 1,200 patients in high‑risk follow‑up clinics. In addition to clinical care, we emphasize education and research. We teach and mentor trainees, including medical students, residents, neonatal fellows, and students in our neonatal nurse practitioner program.
Our research enhances patient care by translating basic science findings into clinical practice.
Additional Information: Employment will be in the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute with a faculty appointment in Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. This affiliation combines the strengths of each institution to support our three‑part academic mission of outstanding clinical care, innovative research, and exceptional education.

Position tasks are generally required to be performed in‑person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
