, IL territory in this unique community-based opportunity. Starting salary is $75,000 per year with an earning potential of a six-figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

Must reside within 30 miles of Chicago, IL*.

New hire training will be held in-person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

• Strategy and execution:
  Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business and drive inquiry generation. Shape high-impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.
• Partner and influencer:
  Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners through a variety of mediums, promoting GCE mission and Grand Canyon University student success.
• Heart and Hustle:
  This remote role demands ambitious targets. Work independently using critical thinking to support prospective students through admissions, guiding them toward a successful online learning experience.

• A bachelor’s degree required. No delinquent or default federal student loan status. If in rehabilitation, the report must show you are current.
• Outstanding time‑management skills to prioritize competing priorities while traveling.
• Clear communication skills – able to explain anything to anyone in person, writing, and on the phone, with well‑developed listening skills.
• Self-motivation and drive to succeed, taking ownership of time spent with students.
• High emotional intelligence, empathy, and ability to coach a diverse range of students and partners.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, and flexible schedule including evening or weekend availability.
• Computer literacy; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
