What You Will Be Doing
- Lead live, student-driven workshops where participants do the majority of speaking and working, while you adjust dynamically
- Create independent, standalone challenges with explicit mastery standards and concrete deliverables students can complete without intensive individual support
- Provide rapid, targeted feedback that clarifies "what's my next step?" and generates measurable progress at scale
- Refine workshops based on evidence (results, observations, recordings, participant input) and record modifications so the program strengthens continuously
- Organize showcases where students share their work with families and display tangible growth and self-assurance
- Implement a predetermined curriculum or deliver lessons scripted by others
- Dedicate weeks to grading, test preparation, or compliance-focused "checkbox" assignments
- Navigate multiple approval layers before testing ideas, conducting experiments, and launching iterations
- Depend on physical presence to generate energy; you'll establish engagement and drive through a screen
Key Responsibilities
This position enables Alpha Anywhere to scale a faculty-led Life Skills program that reliably generates exceptional student outcomes and accommodates significant enrollment expansion without founder-dependent delivery.
Basic Requirements- Experience having created and executed at least one complete experience end-to-end (program, game, camp, training, performance, or comparable)
- Direct experience working with students ages 8–14 in any setting
- Compelling virtual presence with articulate communication and capacity to establish rapport on camera
- Availability to work 40 hours/week with 70%+ of your schedule open between 8am–8pm CT, Monday–Friday
- Dependable internet connection and a professional, stable environment for virtual facilitation
- Proven capacity to operate in ambiguity, iterate rapidly, and maintain rigorous standards without compromising when students face difficulty
- Background in experiential design (games, theater, youth programs, coaching, or startup-style development)
- Experience creating objective rubrics, exemplars, or mastery-based assessments
- Track record of documenting and systematizing your processes so others can replicate and enhance them
