The Training Specialist coordinates and facilitates training programs that strengthen workforce development and improve overall performance. The role develops training materials, partners with subject matter experts, and updates content to keep programs current and effective.
Responsibilities- Support the full training lifecycle using the ADDIE model to develop and implement effective learning programs aligned with company policies, safety standards, and best practices.
- Develop and facilitate engaging in‑person and virtual training sessions and create training deliverables.
- Build and maintain structured learning plans in the Learning Management System (LMS) based on job roles, functional requirements, and organizational needs.
- Conduct training needs assessments and gap analyses to identify skill gaps and align learning initiatives with business and operational goals.
- Measure training effectiveness through feedback, performance data, and continuous improvement insights to enhance program impact.
- Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling sessions, tracking participation, and maintaining accurate training records.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate training into onboarding processes and career development pathways.
- Support trainers and team leaders as a training expert, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
- Recommend process improvements that increase training efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree required, or relevant equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- 0–2 years of experience in a related role, with experience developing training materials or instructional content.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, customer service, time management, prioritization, creativity, and decision‑making skills.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams), screen capture/recording tools (Snagit, Camtasia, or equivalent), and learning development and production technologies.
- Familiarity with ERPs and AI tools is a plus.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis. Panduit will not sponsor applicants for work visas now or in the future. All roles, including remote positions, require an in‑person interview as part of the hiring process.
