Assistant Director, Master’s Admissions – Overview

Supports enrollment and student advancement for Master’s Admissions through application review, recruitment, and project management. Works independently and collaboratively to promote diverse student enrollment.

Responsibilities
  • Manages an admissions portfolio and evaluates applications for specific subject areas and territories.
  • Recruits and evaluates applicants via interviews, application review, and summaries.
  • Conducts college and university visits, attends college fairs, hosts virtual or travel presentations; travel may last 4‑6 weeks per year.
  • Delivers information sessions, specialized presentations, and participates in virtual and on‑campus events for prospective Master’s students.
  • Owns a special project related to Master’s admissions (e.g., print/web publications, programming, recruitment events).
  • Responds to inquiries via phone and e‑mail, providing a positive experience.
  • Maintains relationships with candidates, students, parents, and recruitment partners; provides counseling on admissions processes.
  • Provides weekend and evening availability for application review, travel, and events.
  • Other related duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • College or university degree in a related field.
  • 2–5 years of related work experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Slate CRM.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid United States driver’s license.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Knowledge of Slate CRM.

Working Conditions

The role is primarily office-based with remote work during travel and events. Domestic travel is required. Weekend and evening work may be expected.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $61,625.00 – $79,750.00 per year. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits program, including health, retirement, and paid time off.
