** Sr. Safety Officer
** Analyzes manufacturing locations to ensure compliance with local safety procedures and environmental factors. Proposes solutions to reduce risk and environmental impact, while balancing cost and manufacturing needs. Implements safety programs to lower associated risks to staff. Ensures compliance with local governmental regulations and assists with audits/governmental agency visits.
** About the job:
*** Analyzes data to develop and implement strategies to lower the risk of accidents, injuries, and environmental dangers.
* Designs process improvements to lower the risk of safety incidents and environmental impact while balancing manufacturing procedures and production requirements; implements changes within the manufacturing facility.
* Understands pending regulatory changes that impact manufacturing location and implements changes to remain compliant with local laws.
* Ensures compliance with governmental regulations for safety and health, and assists with audits.
* Other duties as assigned.

* About you:

*** Bachelor's or university degree
* 5+ years of related work experience
* Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
* Advanced knowledge in MS Office
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong communication skills
* High attention to detail
