Position Overview:
Air Quality Engineer
As an Air Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality environmental solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing environmental permit applications for both new and existing operations.
- Conducting emissions calculations and assessing regulatory requirements at federal, state, and local levels.
- Drafting compliance documentation and submitting reports to regulatory agencies.
- Analyzing emissions testing data and contributing to air dispersion modeling efforts.
- Advising clients on regulatory strategies and compliance pathways.
- Assisting with proposal development and project planning.
- Engaging with clients and regulatory bodies to support project execution.
Qualifications and Skills
We're seeking candidates who bring a blend of technical expertise and consulting experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- 5 to 12 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on air quality.
- Knowledge of regulatory programs such as NSR, Title V, PSD, NSPS, NESHAP, and BACT.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently, including remote work.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
