** Reliability Engineer
** Support the operation of the Philippines PE Lab through product development, advanced reliability testing, and reliability test/equipment development. Provide product reliability engineering/test support to Lab customers such as Operations, Product Development, Sales, and Marketing.
** About the job:
*** Provide excellent service to all customers of the lab, internal and external.
* Work with requestors and management to complete incoming failure analysis, design verification, process validation, and reliability test requests.
* Communicate request status and results through updates in the Engineering Test Request System, Reliability Test Database, caWeb, and direct contact.
* Generate product failure analysis, design verification, process validation, and reliability test reports
* Supervise Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Associates and drive them towards the completion of test requests.
* Prepare test schedules for technicians and manage workflow, providing assistance/guidance as needed with clear instructions.
* Evaluate, analyze, and report on the reliability/performance of Littelfuse and competitor products
* Identify and recommend analytical equipment, test equipment, new tools, and procedures to the Lab Manager

* About you:

*** Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or Engineering. M.S. degree is an advantage
* 3+ years of experience in Failure Analysis and/or Reliability Engineering in electronics and/or semiconductor industry
* Solid knowledge of statistical analysis.
* Fluent in industry and military test standards.
* Solid understanding of analog/digital electronics, protection devices, and discrete semiconductors.
* Ability to read/draw and interpret schematics.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to operate well independently or as a team member in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be PC literate. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
* Well-versed with semiconductor product failure analysis techniques such as cross-sectioning, decapsulation, optical microscopy, x-ray imaging, and others.
* Work experience designing/assembling reliability test equipment in a lab environment.
* With good programming skills in a visual language (such as VEE, Lab Windows, Visual Basic, Visual C, C/C++) demonstrated by coursework or practical experience.
