Moisture Intrusion Solutions, Inc, a Salas O'Brien company, is seeking a building envelope professional with experience in designing, investigating, and/or repairing building enclosure systems in the Atlanta, GA area, and the Eastern United States. This is a Hybrid Position that does not report to an Office Location. Regular site observations are performed but report writing is done via your home office.

The purpose of this position is to support our existing clients and projects.

• Consult on complex building enclosure projects providing leadership and expertise to internal and exterior project teams.
• Provide exterior envelope consulting through site observations.
• Conduct 16-25 site observations per month, each requiring a technical picture and text report.
• Schedule site visits with project teams.
• Coordinate and schedule testing teams as needed.
• Travel within Atlanta area, with occasional air travel and overnight stays outside the area.

• Construction experience – 5 years (Required)
• Project Management experience – 5 years (Preferred)

• Knowledge of below-grade waterproofing, roofs, windows, doors, weather barriers, cladding systems, and balcony systems.
• Extensive knowledge of multi-family wood frame construction preferred.
• Comfortable working at heights, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Background check, driving record, and drug screening required.
• Safety gear provided; safety shoes/boots required.

The expected base salary range for this role is $65,000.00 -$85,000.00 USD per year. Actual compensation will be based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
