Applications Engineer
Selectek has a client with a need for an Applications Engineer to provide engineering support for the Aftermarket Parts and Service division. To be successful in this role candidates need a detailed understanding of both the technical and business processes related to the design and supply of standardized and custom industrial heating processing equipment.
Job Duties:
- Provide engineering support for customer issues
- Provide engineering support Service & Parts Department
- Provide support for retrofit projects as needed. Retrofit support will typically include assistance with quotes and budgeting. This may also require site visits to evaluate customer equipment.
- Manage the details and schedules for all of the above.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering from an accredited 4-year university.
- 5+ years of direct industry experience engineering thermal fluid heaters, heat exchangers, boilers or similar industrial processing equipment.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- Strong customer service mindset.
Salary Range: $82,000 - $100,000
Location of job:
Marietta, GA
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday; 8 hours a day. Can start as early as 7am and stay as late as 6pm
Work from Home:
During the first 3-4 months it will be 100% in office. As they get up to speed, they would be able to work from home 2 days a week.
Travel:
Occasionally to a client site but not often.
