We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer III to join our growing design team in our Atlanta, GA office.
Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for creating basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer and/or Senior Designer and developing specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of projects of different sizes.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Beginning to establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the Senior on the project
- Participating in, ensuring, and overseeing QA/QC processes for your work and the work of others
- Assisting in the ongoing determination of project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets
- Performing construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports
- Assisting in processing RFIs, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda
Successful candidates should have the ability to use Revit for system layout and spatial coordination of detailed drawings. A basic understanding of the practical application of LEED principals to building designs is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- 3.5 to 7 years of experience working in a consulting firm
- Current PE registration, preferred; E.I.T. required
- LEED AP, highly preferred
- History of working with federal, healthcare, commercial, and mission critical projects
- Revit and the latest version of AutoCAD MEP experience
- Proficiency in design and calculation software

$70,091 - $105,137 USD (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
