Job Description
We are seeking a Global FP&A Financial Analyst to join our global consulting firm. This role provides exposure to Corporate Finance, P&L management, forecasting and planning, month‑end close, reporting, and enterprise systems including SAP, Anaplan, and Power BI.
This position is based in Kearney’s Chicago office and follows a hybrid working model with one day per week in the office.
We Want To Hear From You If You- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Have 3–4 years of relevant professional experience (including internships)
- Are fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
Power BI experience is a plus - Have a solid foundation in finance and accounting; experience in budgeting, forecasting, or FP&A is a plus
- Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Thrive in a fast‑paced environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Bring an analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex financial information
- Are motivated to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility
Corporate Reporting
- Collect, organize, and analyze financial data from multiple systems; perform P&L analysis and ensure data accuracy
- Partner with Global Accounting to ensure accurate reporting of support functions
- Support forecasting and planning processes for Global Support and Corporate planning units
- Prepare and distribute recurring financial reports and presentations (e.g., SG&A, Corporate performance)
- Manage the internal job code process as a key financial control
- Support the Manager of Global FP&A in developing new reporting and analytical capabilities
Global Reporting
- Develop expertise in Kearney’s financial systems and reporting structure to support total firm P&L consolidation
- Prepare executive‑level presentations for senior leadership, including firmwide and regional performance summaries
- Maintain Power BI dashboards and support ad hoc reporting requests
- Assist with special projects and financial analyses as needed

Global FP&A Financial Analyst compensation range: $75K–$90K. It is important to note that at Kearney, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Kearney reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
In addition to salary, individuals may be eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
