Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Vice President, Financial Advisor to join a dynamic team focused on servicing clients who come through the custodial referral channels. This role will help close and service new clients, focusing on helping clients achieve their financial goals while providing excellent client service. This is a remote position based out of the Atlanta, GA area, with client/prospect meetings presenting a varied schedule.
We select our initial compensation target using national compensation survey data. When we make an offer, we then factor in things like tenure, performance, and geographic location to come up with the most accurate numbers. We encourage you to apply and provide us with your compensation expectations when you do because we’re big on open conversations. The expected pay range for this position is $225k – $250k annually.
This range reflects a base salary and variable compensation and is based on the company’s good faith belief that it would pay in this range for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation within this range will depend on your qualifications, skills, credentials, education, professional experience, and productivity and sales numbers and can be below or exceed the range.

- Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships and assist with managing complex clients to the WEG planning‑based standard of identity. Tasks include facilitating the financial planning process, understanding the client’s current financial situation, engaging them in the process, preparing and conducting annual reviews, and presenting financial advice or plan to client.
- Prospect Closure with RVP: Assist the RVP in closing leads provided by various WEG channels, create opportunities within your network, and drive referrals from existing clients.
- Client Service Operations: Take meeting notes and promptly enter into the CRM, analyze client’s current investments and insurance policies, place trades and manage accounts, participate in training and coaching programs, and ensure compliance with the Wealth Enhancement Group’s Corporate Communication Strategy.
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, economics or related.
- Minimum 2 consecutive years as a registered representative (IAR) holding a Series 65 or 7/66.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a registered representative as either a full‑service broker‑dealer, a security portfolio manager or a CFP, CFA or CPA.
- Series 65 or 7/66 or advanced designation (CFA or CFP).
- Experience with complex financial planning (including tax, trust and estate).
- Ability to convert prospects to clients and provide high‑level planning‑oriented service to a fast‑growing book of business.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills (both oral & written).
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality.
- Able to travel locally to meet clients and attend meetings at various locations.
