What You'll DoLead a team of analysts in the Affordable Housing Program (AHP), a regulated housing development program that awards grants for multifamily and owner-occupied projects. The role focuses on operational needs of the program, including:
- Disbursing funds and ensuring completion reporting
- Project monitoring and program reporting
- Adhering to program requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Improving post‑award operations through policy and process enhancements
- Streamlining workload management and developing user guides
- Leveraging data and reporting tools (AHP systems, RPA, CRM, Tableau) to support decision‑making and trend analysis
- Coaching and developing the team to maintain expertise and continuity
- Enhancing compliance and risk management, including audits and FHFA examinations
- Translating regulatory guidance into operational practices
- Overseeing post‑award workload planning and distribution
- Updating procedures, user guides, and program policies
- Managing performance of direct reports through coaching, training, and feedback
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of business‑related work experience and 3+ years of leadership experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Tableau, and SQL (plus intermediate Salesforce or other CRM)
- Experience with grant‑management online systems preferred
- Preferred background in affordable housing finance, community development, commercial real estate, or community economic development
- Ability to deliver data‑driven updates to stakeholders and leverage data for decision‑making
- Strong communication skills (written and oral), including public speaking to senior leadership
- Effective planning and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
- Work knowledge of AHP online systems and related systems; quick learning ability
- Knowledge of local, state, federal, and community development/affordable housing programs is desired
- Ability to analyze affordable housing project budgets is desired but not required
- Willingness to acquire any missing knowledge or skills upon hiring
Salary Range: $ – $. Base salary may be adjusted based on experience and other factors.
