This is an exceptional opportunity for a CPA or public accounting professional seeking exposure to SEC reporting, complex technical accounting matters, large-scale finance transformation initiatives, and direct collaboration with senior finance leadership.
Responsibilities- Play a critical role in the company's transition from IFRS to US GAAP.
- Research and analyze complex accounting issues and help develop scalable accounting policies and reporting processes.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with evolving accounting and regulatory requirements.
- Support the preparation and review of SEC filings and external financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements.
- Participate in quarterly and annual reporting cycles, including disclosures and supporting schedules.
- Serve as a key liaison with internal and external auditors.
- Prepare technical accounting analyses, documentation, and audit support.
- Present findings and recommendations to finance leadership and business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and enhance financial reporting processes.
- Help standardize reporting practices across a global organization.
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of reporting systems, including SAP ECC, SAC, and Tagetik.
- Research new accounting standards and unusual transactions.
- Draft technical accounting memos and position papers.
- Participate in special projects that directly influence the finance organization's evolution.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
- Public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 or large national firm.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting SEC filings is a plus.
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Direct involvement in a major IFRS-to-US GAAP conversion.
- Exposure to SEC reporting and complex technical accounting matters.
- High visibility across finance leadership and executive stakeholders.
