Analyst/Sr. Analyst, Alternatives – Client Solutions & Research
Full‑time position focused on client solutions and alternatives research.
Responsibilities- Support the Alternatives team with client‑related initiatives across discretionary and advisory clients
- Assist with monitoring existing client portfolios
- Create presentation materials for clients
- Support new client solution ideas and handle ad‑hoc client requests
- Contribute as an active member of the alternatives research team
- Evaluate private‑markets investment opportunities, including private equity, private credit and real assets primarily in North America
- Bring familiarity with marketable alternatives such as liquid alternatives and hedge funds as a plus but not a requirement
- Participate in 3–4 person deal teams evaluating each investment opportunity
- Assess both fund investments (primaries) and transactions, including co‑investments and secondaries
- Foundational understanding of the private markets industry
- Excellent analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
- Strong business and investment acumen
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot)
- Interest in both client service and investments
- A self‑starter who is independent, hardworking and results oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills – the ability to present ideas with precision and conviction
- A passion for excellence
- An entrepreneurial bent and a “roll-up-the-sleeves” orientation
- Organized, thorough and detail‑oriented
- Willingness to be mentored, ask questions and receive constructive feedback
- Works effectively with colleagues at all levels, across functions and global teams
- A high degree of integrity and professionalism
Hybrid model – remote work possible with office presence in Santa Monica, Chicago or Pittsburgh.
CompensationPay range $65,000–$82,000. Base pay is individualized based on location, qualifications, skills and experience. Total compensation may include an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefits.
