This full-time Associate Financial Representative role is a hybrid position based in the Greater Chicago Area, with flexibility for some work from home. The Associate Financial Representative will support financial advisors in developing comprehensive financial plans, including insurance, investment, and retirement strategies tailored to client goals. Daily responsibilities include meeting with clients and prospects, gathering financial data, preparing proposals, and assisting with the implementation of recommended solutions.
The role involves ongoing client service such as policy reviews, account maintenance, and responding to client inquiries to help ensure long-term financial security. The Associate Financial Representative will also collaborate with team members, follow compliance standards, and engage in continuous professional development to stay current on products and industry trends.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to help design comprehensive, goal-based strategies for clients.
- Candidates should possess skills in Investments and Finance to analyze client portfolios, evaluate risk, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Insurance to support clients with risk management and protection-focused strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Comfort with a performance-based environment, including goal setting, activity tracking, and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time autonomously, and collaborate within a team-oriented culture.
- Licenses such as Life & Health insurance and securities registrations (e.g., Series 6/7, 63) are preferred or willingness to obtain within set timelines.
