Exchange Fee Reconciliation Specialist, Futures Operations AVP

Summary:

Futures Exchange Fee Reconciliation specialist will maintain the exchange fee setup (updates/maintenance) in GMI and conduct monthly exchange fee reconciliation ensuring that all exchange fees charged by the exchanges and the carrying brokers are accurately reconciled with the firm’s internal records. This includes reviewing and analyzing fee discrepancies or errors and working to resolve any issues. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining detailed records of all fee transactions and communicating with internal stakeholders to provide updates on fee reconciliations and changes.

Additionally, the specialist will be responsible for maintaining static data related to exchange fees, including membership, fee incentive programs, and other relevant information in the firm’s systems to ensure that the firm remains compliant with exchange regulatory requirements related to exchange fees.

• Maintain exchange fee setups in GMI and conduct monthly fee reconciliation, including BPS, CME group, ICE Europe, ICE US, LME, Nodal, EEX, Montreal, MGE, TOCOM exchanges and NFA.
• Communicate and pass on any fee adjustments or rebates to clients after completing reconciliation.
• Research and provide resolution on any unreconcilable items and complex requests related to fee setups and allocation process.
• Provide documentation of reconciliation for supporting changes to fee schedules and fee accruals.
• Assist in developing standards, procedures, and internal controls around fee reconciliation activities.
• Assist in external and internal audit questionnaires and requests.
• Other duties as assigned or needed.

• Extensive operational knowledge of futures exchange fee structures, exchange memberships, BPS and GMI.
• Strong experience with Excel and data analysis.
• Proven ability to provide excellent client service and take ownership of issues.
• Excellent follow‑through, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills to communicate across multiple aspects of the organization at various senior levels.
• Dynamic, proactive team player with capacity to identify process inefficiencies and improve control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and under pressure, with strong time‑management skills for meeting deadlines.

Base salary range: $85,000 - $150,000. Salary offers are based on skills, training, experience, education, certifications, and market factors. Eligible for discretionary bonus and a generous benefits package.
