Physician Credentialing Coordinator

Hybrid Temporary F/T Physician Credentialing Coordinator, Mt. Sinai Hospital Chicago, IL Our client, an ACO, located on the near west side of Chicago, is seeking to hire an experienced hybrid temporary full-time Physician Credentialing Coordinator. This position is a hybrid, partially remote position working onsite in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and then on Mondays and Fridays from home.

The Credentialing Coordinator is part of a Credentialing Team that is involved with credentialing a total of 500 physicians.

Job Responsibilities Perform full cycle of credentialing for physicians. Work with health plans to report the required credentialing information.

Job Requirements Minimum of an Associate’s Degree At least 3 years’ experience in credentialing physicians. Accustomed to using credentialing software like CAQH Proview Software. Knowledge of how to submit credentialing information to health plans and payers Knowledge of the health care industry, health plan, NCQA, MSO, CMS, and Federal regulations. Proficient in computer skills: MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
