Benefit Specialist

Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a Benefit Specialist Ito join their team! The Benefit Specialist I supports managed care and value-based program activities by coordinating enrollments, authorizations, and payer updates. This role ensures accurate records, compliance with payer requirements, and collaborates with staff and external partners to resolve coverage or payment issues.

• Coordinate and support managed care and value-based program activities, including enrollment, authorizations, payer updates, and compliance reviews.
• Monitor resident census, payer assignments, and benefit utilization to ensure accurate and timely updates in internal systems.
• Manage documentation processes such as authorizations, concurrent requests, appeals, and regulatory notifications, ensuring compliance with payer requirements.
• Collaborate with facility staff, therapy teams, billing/AR, and external partners to maintain accurate records and resolve issues related to coverage, eligibility, or payments.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and outreach activities as needed to support program operations.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new programs or processes, adapting responsibilities as organizational needs evolve.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

• High school degree or equivalent, required.
• Previous expereince in Skilled Nursing,preferred

• Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
• Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards. Understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required.
• Meet all health requirements as needed.
