Role OverviewChartis is seeking a talented Recruiter to attract top talent and deliver a high-touch, personalized candidate experience to candidates at the campus and early career levels. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative, organized individual who is interested in making an impact in a dynamic, high growth organization. An integral member of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Recruiter will play a significant role in leading our growing campus recruiting efforts, internship program, and experienced early career hiring efforts.
ResponsibilitiesCampus Recruiting
Partner with firm leaders to develop campus strategy; ensure branding and messaging across each recruiting channel is consistent with the Chartis mission and value proposition
Plan and execute a series of high-touch campus recruiting events and marketing efforts on-campus, in Chartis offices, and virtually.
Identify and build relationships with target candidates, manage a high volume of applications, and plan and execute large scale interview days both virtually and in Chartis offices
Leverage competitive intelligence and recruiting season results to identify areas for improvement and drive changes to our campus strategy each year
Partner with the Talent teams to lead the Summer Internship program
Early Career Experienced Recruiting
Manage recruiting efforts for experienced hires at the early career level across the business
Proactively source candidates using a variety of strategies, including cold outreach, online databases, social media, networking, employee referrals, and industry events
Facilitate offer decision processes by balancing input from multiple stakeholders, guiding discussions to surface potential issues, and building alignment
Serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating compensation, closing offers, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding
Bachelor’s degree required
2-4 years of work experience, preferably in campus recruiting at a professional services firm
Outstanding written and verbal communicator; able to clearly and passionately articulate the Chartis value proposition and listen exceptionally well
Flexible and a self-starter; able to manage multiple responsibilities and processes independently while remaining detail-oriented
Ability to develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues at all levels throughout the firm
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and applicant tracking systems
The role works remotely, however, must be able to travel occasionally to campus recruiting events and firm meetings
This role is based in Chicago and requires the ability to work from the office as needed and travel occasionally for campus recruiting events and firm meetings
Salary range: $70,000-$95,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs. In addition, Chartis offers several benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, disability insurance, life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and additional voluntary benefits.
