Our client, a leading proprietary trading firm is seeking an exceptional Technical Operations Engineer to join their innovative team.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing and maintaining trading systems to ensure production environment stability.
- Developing automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Troubleshooting complex network and system issues, from hardware to in-house applications.
- Collaborating with development teams to enhance system functionality and reliability.
- Executing global change management frameworks for firm-wide initiatives.
- Providing rotational on-call support to maintain operations continuity.
- Python Expertise: Exceptional proficiency in Python development for application requirements, design, and deployment.
- Linux Proficiency: Strong command of Linux systems for robust operational performance.
- Networking Knowledge: A solid understanding of networking protocols including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, UDP, and multicast.
- Problem-solving: Self-motivated and passionate about addressing complex technical challenges.
- Organizational Abilities: Effective planning and prioritization skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
