As the Lead AI Engineer, you will build the intelligence layer of Bizee s platform. You will own the AI systems that power personalized recommendations, intelligent automation, and predictive compliance. Player-coach role leading a team of 3-6 AI/ML engineers, while remaining hands-on (50-60% of time).
Responsibilities- Build Recommendations Engine.
- AI-powered compliance alerts.
- Intelligent document generation and extraction.
- Production-ready AI infrastructure.
- Team Growth and establishment of AI engineering practices.
- Champion AI-assisted development across engineering.
- Recommendations & Personalization systems.
- Automate compliance workflows, document processing using LLMs and ML.
- AI Infrastructure.
- LLM Integration.
- AI Team: development, and retention.
- 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years building AI/ML systems in production.
- LLM Application Development experience.
- You use Claude Code (or similar AI coding tools) daily.
- Recommendations/Personalization experience.
- Technical Leadership (small teams).
- Full-Stack AI capabilities.
- Business Orientation measured by business metrics.
- Production AI applications built using Claude Code in the last 6 months.
- Recommendation systems that drove measurable revenue impact.
- Experience in compliance, legal tech, fintech, or regulatory-heavy industries.
- Implemented LLM guardrails, safety systems, and cost management at scale.
- Background in document processing, OCR, or intelligent automation.
