Application Support Specialist

Overview

Zurich is currently hiring an Application Support Specialist I to join their Application Support Center team. The successful candidate will provide support services to internal customers related to an application/set of applications covering a range of responsibilities focusing on repetitive activities, following instructions and incident resolution. The role is eligible to grow through project driven work as well as market and product expertise.

• Performs standardized operational tasks to ensure that the service levels and performance are met.
• Takes action where necessary to address or expedite performance or operational issues.
• Reports service performance to line management and provides feedback on execution of standardized operational tasks to business.
• Complies with IT service management governance, standards and polices.
• Provides input for service level performance reports to the business generating improvement actions where necessary.
• Supports the end‑user satisfaction process and service improvement programs.
• Manages incident escalations and complaints, working with the Business Unit to resolve individual service issues.
• Supports business in disaster recovery testing.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Application Support area.

OR

• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Application Support area.

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. The proposed hourly rate range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
