Our client, a global family of innovative brands serving an array of industries, including electrical, aerospace, data communications, wire processing, and power management, is seeking a Web Content Operations Specialist with expert Word Press VIP skills to own and elevate their multi-brand web ecosystem. This hands-on role will drive content, governance, and site performance across multiple international and regional sites. The team is midway through a major CMS transformation as they migrate from AEM to Word Press VIP, with newly refreshed sites across the global brand portfolio.

Position Overview
The Web Content Operations Specialist will serve as the primary owner of the Word Press VIP environment, managing content operations, page building, and template creation across a multi-site ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines deep Word Press VIP knowledge with a strategic mindset to deliver high-performing, user-focused web experiences. They will collaborate with marketing teams, IT, and agencies to ensure sites are optimized, consistent, accessible, and continuously improving for engagement and conversion.
This role is central to a major CMS migration and offers the opportunity to shape the digital presence of multiple global brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all Word Press VIP content operations, including page creation, reusable components, templates, and block-based layouts.
- Build, update, and optimize websites using advanced Word Press VIP functionality.
- Execute content strategies, personalization initiatives, and A/B tests to improve user engagement and path-to-purchase conversion.
- Partner with business units to deliver digital experiences for product launches, campaigns, and customer journeys.
- Ensure WCAG AA accessibility compliance and implement SEO best practices across all sites.
- Coordinate with IT and agencies on Word Press VIP release planning, plugin evaluation, and technical upgrades.
- Maintain web standards, documentation, and playbooks to enable consistent content creation across global sites.
- Monitor site performance, interpret analytics, and recommend data-driven improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4-6+ years of experience managing Word Press or Word Press VIP sites, including page building, content modeling, reusable components, and media management.
- Experience designing and authoring websites for desktop and mobile using Word Press VIP advanced features.
- Strong understanding of SEO, analytics, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with multi-region, multi-language site management and localization coordination.
- Ability to manage content independently, coordinate releases, and collaborate with developers and agencies.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
