We are looking for a IT Support Specialist with strong expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Active Directory. We need someone that has experience working with a large amount of gold images and que management. You will also support change management processes, monitoring, and automation for a stable and secure IT environment. This is a remote based opportunity.
We can ONLY consider people that currently live in Illinois, Michigan or Missouri.
Travel is 1-2 times per year.
Key Responsibilities- Local laptops used only for AVD connectivity
- Golden image management and software deployment in Nerdio
- Distribution of new software to AVD hosts
- Understand and apply AVD concepts to daily operations
- Implement and support change management processes
- Administer Windows Server infrastructure:
- Active Directory (AD)
- Add and remove users
- Intune endpoint management:
- Manage and support
- Printerlogic for printer management
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop
- Experience with Nerdio
- Experience with Gold Images and Host Pools
- Que Management
- Familiarity with Intune, Entra , and endpoint management a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Follow the established change management processes
