Data & Applications Analyst

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented Data & Applications Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, learning how applications are built, and supporting client-facing projects.

You will work closely with senior team members to clean and organize data, connect datasets, and help build and maintain Quickbase applications that support sales and marketing programs for well-known companies in the IT channel.

This role provides hands‑on experience with real client data, real applications, and real projects, with mentorship and room to grow.

This is a remote position, with a preference for candidates based in the Chicago area.

As a Data & Applications Analyst, you will work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and turn those objectives into custom solutions and applications. You will support data preparation, application development, and client projects under the guidance of senior team members.

• Clean, normalize, and transform large datasets from multiple sources
• Perform account matching and data alignment across vendors, distributors, resellers, and customers
• Help validate data accuracy and resolve inconsistencies
• Build and maintain relationships between operational, sales, and marketing datasets
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities through relational data analysis
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation across projects

• Design, build, and maintain custom Quickbase applications
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data views for client and internal use
• Create workflows, automations, and data pipelines that support ongoing programs
• Build outbound communications and data‑capture workflows within applications
• Translate analytical outputs into intuitive, actionable application features

• Support client projects by tracking tasks and deliverables
• Participate in client calls alongside senior team members
• Capture client requirements and translate them into scoped solutions
• Assist with managing timelines, priorities, and deliverables across multiple projects
• Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes clearly to clients
• Provide a high level of customer experience through structured execution and follow‑through

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or a related field
• Strong working knowledge of Excel (formulas, filters, pivots preferred)
• Comfort working with structured data and spreadsheets
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Clear written and verbal communication

• Basic exposure to Python, SQL, or low‑code tools
• Exposure to Quickbase or other low‑code/no‑code platforms
• Coursework or projects involving data analysis or reporting
• Familiarity with CRM or sales/marketing data
• Interest in learning dashboards, reporting, and automation
