Job Title: Business Analyst

This is a remote position.

Job Description:

The Business Analyst will facilitate the gathering and documentation of business requirements and business processes. They will ensure that the requirements are clearly defined and validated to support the system's design and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform analysis of the current EAP COBOL mainframe system and source code to identify undocumented functionalities, hidden business rules, and critical interdependencies, establishing an accurate operational baseline.

• Organize and facilitate requirements investigation workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Document the EAP system requirements, business processes, and business rules.
• Support verification testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the documented requirements align with the business goals and objectives.
• Assist in the analysis of the legacy system to identify business logic and system functionality.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years in business analysis.
• Experience with gathering requirements and documenting business processes for large-scale IT projects.

Certifications
:

• Business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP) preferred.
