Position: Senior Program Manager, Localization (USA Remote)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Define, develop, and execute the end‑to‑end localization strategy in alignment with company objectives
  • Advocate for global users, ensuring high‑quality localization standards and bug management
  • Maintain documentation for product or program developments and build language asset usage
  • Oversee vendor evaluations and manage third‑party localization vendor quality
  • Collaborate across teams to facilitate data‑driven change management
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • 8+ years of experience in program, project management, and/or localization
  • Proven experience in crafting localization strategy and leading cross‑functional initiatives
  • Experience managing localization and linguistics vendors to ensure high‑quality delivery
  • Mastery of Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer‑Assisted Translation (CAT) tools
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to influence stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Understanding of internationalization (i18n) and globalization (g11n) concepts
  • Experience applying AI tools or machine translation to improve localization workflows
  • Familiarity with Agile development workflows, such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience with localization in educational institutions or the EdTech industry
  • Master’s degree in Localization, Linguistics, International Studies, Computer Science, or related field
