Peoplesoft Developer - Global Payroll

We are seeking a passionate, flexible, highly motivated Peoplesoft Developer - Global Payroll to join our group of Information Technology professionals. Fully remote position available to residents in AL, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, NC, OR, RI, SC, TX, VA, DC, WV.

Travel up to 10% required.

• Hands‑on development experience with Oracle People Soft Global Payroll.
• Develop and test People Soft Global Payroll rules engine, update/modify extensions or tailored software.
• Integrate People Soft Global Payroll with existing People Soft HCM solutions to support the Integrated Personnel and Pay System.
• Work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) delivery environment, build and test Epics, Features, User Stories, deliver software incrementally.
• Design, develop, and maintain customizations across People Soft modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Financials (AP, AR, GL), and Campus Solutions.
• Develop and support complex components using People Tools, People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface, and Event Mapping.
• Strong experience with SQL, SQR, PS/Query, BI Publisher, and web services.
• Support integrations with third‑party and legacy systems using REST/SOAP Web Services, file‑based integrations, and middleware tools.
• Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, data integrity problems, and system bugs across multiple modules.
• Apply security best practices, manage user roles/permissions, and ensure compliance with data privacy standards (HIPAA, FISMA, etc.).
• Support batch scheduling, job streams, and workflow automation using Application Engine, Process Scheduler, and People Soft Workflows.
• Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, change control artifacts, and deployment packages.

• United States citizenship.
• Public Trust or Department of Defense clearance with ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret level clearance.
• Security+ certification or IAT Level 2 certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 7+ years People Soft development experience across HCM, Financials, and/or Campus Solutions.
• Expert-level experience with People Tools, People Code, Application Engine, Integration Broker, and Component Interface.
• Deep knowledge of People Soft security, performance tuning, and management changes.
• Proven ability to lead development tasks, mentor team members, and collaborate with functional and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Experience with People Soft Fluid UI and accessibility compliance.
• Familiarity with People Soft Update Manager, Change Assistant, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS‑hosted People Soft environments.
• Ability to work independently and as a technical lead within a cross‑functional team.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
