Contract Manager - Procurement; M&A​/Integration

Position: Contract Manager - Procurement (M&A / Integration)
We are hiring a Contract Manager who specializes within the Procurement (M&A / Integration) space.

About:
This is not a traditional purchasing role. Instead, this position focuses on reviewing and advising on existing vendor contracts and determining what actions need to be taken as the organization goes through a transition. This is a hands-on, independent role where you'll be responsible for analyzing contracts, identifying risk, and guiding the business on next steps.

Responsibilities:

+ Review and analyze existing vendor contracts and agreements

+ Identify risk, compliance gaps, and financial exposure

+ Determine how contracts are impacted by organizational changes (e.g., mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, name changes)

+ Recommend contract actions (renegotiation, amendment, reassignment, etc.)

+ Partner with cross-functional teams including:
Legal, IT, Finance, and Procurement

+ Lead contract updates, including: redlining, drafting amendments, and reviewing terms & conditions

+ Communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders

+ Own and manage this project end-to-end with minimal oversight

Qualifications:

+ 7+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing (indirect preferred)

+ Strong experience with contract review, negotiation, and management with ability to draft and redlining agreements

+ Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or business restructuring initiatives

+ Ability to assess contract risk, vendor obligations, and financial/compliance implications

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to work with senior stakeholders

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
