Senior QA Analyst, Privileged Access Management

Remote, U.S.

Description

Keeper is hiring a Senior QA Analyst to join our Privileged Access Management (PAM) team, working closely with platform‑level integrations that span Keeper Secrets Manager (KSM). This 100% remote position offers the opportunity to work with a hybrid schedule for candidates based in El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro areas.

Keeper’s cybersecurity software is trusted by millions of users and thousands of organizations globally. Keeper is published in 23 languages and sold in over 150 countries.

About the Role

As a Senior QA Analyst focused on Privileged Access Management, you will validate complex workflows that span cloud infrastructure, identity providers, CI/CD systems, and enterprise operating environments. The role emphasizes integration testing, security‑focused validation, and system‑level quality across PAM and KSM capabilities, rather than isolated feature testing. You will design and execute comprehensive test strategies, analyze system behavior across environments, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure Keeper’s PAM platform meets high standards for reliability, interoperability, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for PAM and platform‑level KSM integrations.
  • Perform integration testing across cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), IAM platforms (Okta, Ping Identity, Active Directory), and CI/CD systems (Jenkins, Git Lab, Azure Dev Ops).
  • Validate PAM functionality across Windows, Linux, databases, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
  • Identify, document, and validate defects, collaborating with engineering and product teams to drive resolution.
  • Execute security‑focused validation workflows to ensure expected access controls, policy enforcement, and audit behaviors.
  • Perform reliability, stress, and fault‑tolerance testing for PAM services and workflows.
  • Analyze logs, errors, and system behavior to diagnose failures and identify root causes.
  • Contribute to automated test coverage in collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance product usability, resilience, and security.
  • Maintain clear documentation of testing procedures, results, and reproducible steps.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in privileged access and secrets management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in QA or software testing, including at least 2 years focused on security, PAM, or infrastructure‑oriented products.
  • Strong understanding of PAM concepts, secrets management, and enterprise security practices.
  • Experience testing integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD systems.
  • Familiarity with IAM solutions such as Okta, Ping Identity, or Active Directory.
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, QA, product, and security teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud‑native or serverless environments.
  • Familiarity with secure software development and data protection practices.
  • Experience with scripting languages or test automation frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
Benefits

Medical, Dental & Vision (inclusive of domestic partnerships);
Employer‑paid Life Insurance;
