Dev Ops Engineer

Chicago, IL (Hybrid) Full-Time $125,000 – $155,000

Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration platforms, and observability stacks for Skygate Advisors clients across diverse technology environments.

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for client engineering teams
• Design and manage EKS and ECS container orchestration platforms
• Implement comprehensive observability and alerting stacks
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
• Conduct platform performance assessments and produce recommendations
• Help clients adopt Git Ops and Dev Ops best practices

• 5+ years Dev Ops or platform engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and Docker
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines in Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or AWS Code Pipeline
• Proficiency with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure-as-code
• Experience with observability tools (Data Dog, Grafana, Prometheus, Cloud Watch)
• Scripting proficiency in Python or Bash
• AWS Dev Ops Engineer certification a plus
