Risk Transfer Consultant

Overview

Marsh McLennan Agency’s Midwest Region is a full‑service brokerage providing business insurance, employee benefits, private client insurance, and retirement services to businesses and individuals across the country.

As our Risk Transfer Consultant on the Risk Transfer team, you’ll work diligently to obtain, analyze, and monitor certificates of insurance while achieving a desirable compliance rate for our clients. You’ll directly work towards achieving the company’s vision of Minimizing Risk Maximizing Health, by reducing insurance liability for our clients from the third parties they are doing business with.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Obtain, analyze, and monitor certificates of insurance from clients’ third‑party entities, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements and validating coverage details.
• Notify clients and third‑party entities of certificate status, policy expirations, and provide various compliance reports.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly review meetings with clients, offering guidance on processes and procedures while identifying and escalating potential issues.
• Communicate effectively with clients, third parties, and coworkers via phone and email, maintaining a strong understanding of Risk Transfer Coordinator responsibilities.

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Previous Property and Casualty experience
• AINS Designation

The applicable base salary range for this role is $52,600 to $98,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance‑based incentives.
