Senior Reinsurance Underwriter REMOTE

GPS is recruiting on behalf of a top rated MGU and Reinsurance Intermediary. They seek to hire a Senior Reinsurance Underwriter to manage the negotiation and placement of several large, self-insured clients and risk pools. This includes P&C and Work Comp lines and working with London-based carriers for placement. • Manage the renewal process for self-insureds and risk pools
• Develop proposals and the data required by the insureds
• Be the point of contact for clients and manage relationships with both clients and carriers
• Maintain compliance
• Collaborate with senior management to oversee processes, procedures and internal operations
• Lead a small team of policy administrators

• 8+ years of P&C reinsurance underwriting experience
• Some supervisory or management experience
• Bachelor’s degree and industry designations are preferred
