Wealth Solutions Insurance Manager
CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Solutions Insurance Manager to support financial advisors in delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions, with a focus on life insurance and annuities strategy and integration. The role will lead insurance strategy and execution, serve as a key resource to advisors, manage relationships with external insurance partners, support sales activity, ensure regulatory oversight, and collaborate across teams to enhance our service model.
The ideal candidate brings strong life insurance and annuity experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can effectively manage priorities while delivering a high standard of client service.
- Oversight of our wealth management insurance solutions
- Lead insurance strategy development and implementation
- Work with insurance licensed and unlicensed advisors to connect them with our insurance resources
- Own relationships with external insurance brokers
- FINRA supervision and suitability reviews related to our broker dealer, as needed
- Ongoing insurance sales support
- Coordination with internal M Financial agents
- Work with wealth leadership, advisors, and project teams to enhance our services and support model
- Track metrics, monitor activities, automate functions where possible
- Create and manage project plans and lead projects, as needed
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technology, product, and business teams across the firm
- May work, when necessary, beyond normal working hours
- Very minimal travel expected
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of Life Insurance experience
- Registered representative with wealth management industry experience
- Series 24 license required
- Product or vendor management experience
- Wealth management client facing experience
- Family offices services and ultra-high net worth client experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills, includes being polished, courteous, professional, and patient
- Good organizational skills such as multi-tasking, adapting priorities, and meeting deadlines
- Strong background/knowledge with financial planning strategies
- Technology savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office

- Compensation range (depending on location and experience): $115,000 - $180,000
Any CAPTRUST office location. Due to the nature of the role, this is not a remote or work‑from‑home position, however there is flexibility.
