Maltese Language Specialist | Remote

Responsibilities

• Translate and localize content between Maltese, Latvian, and English to ensure linguistic accuracy and contextual relevance.
• Edit and proofread AI-generated texts, identifying and correcting language errors.
• Collaborate with AI trainers and linguists to develop, refine, and validate language data for machine learning models.
• Provide cultural insights and linguistic expertise to enhance the naturalness and fluency of language outputs.
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of AI language tools for both Maltese and Latvian languages.
• Document linguistic patterns, anomalies, and recommendations for ongoing language model improvement.

• Have native or near-native proficiency in Maltese and strong proficiency in Latvian.
• Have demonstrated experience in editing, translation, or linguistic quality assurance.
• Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Be familiar with linguistic evaluation in digital or AI-driven environments.
• Have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fully remote setting.
