Overview

Reputable Plaintiff Law firm in LA seeks both a Legal Assistant and Paralegal. Salary: $150,000 - $350,000 per year. This role is hosted by Jobot and is an opportunity to join a growing firm focused on plaintiff-side wage-and-hour class action litigation across federal and state courts with regional, national, and Fortune 500 company clients.

Benefits: 401(k); dental, health, and vision insurance; paid time off. Schedule is 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Focusing on the prosecution of consumer and employment class and representative actions, involving wage-and-hour, unfair business practice, discrimination, and false advertising matters. The firm has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of thousands of employees and consumers in California. Our firm has a large number of active cases in both state and federal courts throughout California. This is the opportunity to gain experience and exposure working with a powerhouse in state and federal plaintiffs-side class action litigation, against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies in multiple industries.

• Support the legal team in plaintiff-side wage-and-hour class action matters across state and federal courts.
• Assist with discovery, document organization, and coordination of case activities.
• Contribute to the prosecution of consumer and employment class and representative actions.
• Collaborate with associates on cases involving multiple industries and major clients.

• 1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, including discovery, oral advocacy, court appearances, motion practice, and taking/defending depositions.
• Prior experience with class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour matters is a plus.
• FEHA or PAGA experience is ideally preferred.
• Candidates must be licensed in the state where they reside.
