Benefits

The firm offers a hybrid work arrangement option and an annual telecommute budget to support remote work. The firm’s billable hour requirement is 1850. Attorneys receive competitive health insurance benefits, a 401(k) with a partial match, and are eligible for annual discretionary and billable hour bonuses.

The firm's pro bono program affords attorneys opportunities to contribute in ways which are most meaningful to them both personally and professionally by giving associates billable credit for up to 40 hours of pro bono work.

The firm also supports attorneys’ business development goals by providing each associate with a yearly budget for attendance at continuing legal education and conferences.

Duties
  • Provide legal advice to public sector and private clients with respect to employment and traditional labor matters.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and hearings related to employment disputes.

  • Conduct legal research on relevant legislation, case law, and industry developments to inform case strategy.
  • Assist clients in compliance with employment legislation and best practices to minimise legal risks.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining meticulous records of all proceedings and correspondence.

Qualifications
  • Qualified attorney specialising in labour and employment law with a minimum of three years’ experience.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for client liaison.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development within the field of employment law.
