BGSF is seeking a contract Trademark Paralegal for our reputable legal client located in the DT area of Chicago!

3+ month contract

$30.00/hr - $40.00/hr, DOE; to $70sK + annual bonus

Monday – Friday, 900am – 500pm

Hybrid – 2 days per week work from home AFTER training;
Wednesdays required onsite

REQUIRES 3+ years IP experience with a focus on trademark filing and document preparation; USPTO, and researching competitive trademarks; docketing; MS Office/Excel, 4-year degree;
Case Management, Anaqua, Relativity systems strongly preferred

The primary responsibility of this role is to handle trademark and copyright documents from USPTO and foreign associates.

Highly Desired

3+ years trademark paralegal experience, i.e., filing and preparing trademark paperwork, using the USPTO, and researching competitive trademarks

Knowledge of domestic and international USPTO trademark practice and procedures including Madrid Protocol and Community Trademark

Eligible for PTO and/or holiday pay in accordance with company and/or client policies and may be eligible for paid sick leave in accordance with applicable law.
