A law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of transactional legal experience to support a growing corporate practice representing startups, emerging companies, entrepreneurs, and venture capital investors. The position offers substantial exposure to business transactions and client counseling while working closely with experienced attorneys on a variety of corporate matters.

The successful candidate will conduct legal research, prepare transactional documents, review commercial agreements, and communicate directly with clients to resolve legal and business issues. The role is well suited for an attorney who enjoys working with entrepreneurial businesses and is interested in developing practical transactional experience in a collaborative environment.

The position is currently remote and is expected to transition to a hybrid work arrangement.

• Research legal and commercial issues related to client matters.
• Communicate with clients regarding ongoing projects, legal questions, and outstanding tasks.
• Review and analyze commercial agreements and transactional documents.
• Draft agreements, corporate consents, resolutions, and related legal documents using established precedents.
• Assist attorneys with transactional matters involving startups and emerging companies.
• Support venture capital and corporate transactions from initial drafting through closing.
• Maintain organized files and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Contribute to client service by providing timely and practical legal support.

• Minimum 1 year of transactional legal experience as a licensed attorney.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and document management skills.
• Willingness to learn technical, legal, and business concepts.
• Strong interest in entrepreneurship and emerging businesses.
• Preferred:
  Prior experience representing startups or emerging companies.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Licensed to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
