Schlichter Bogard is seeking a Staff Attorney to join our nationally recognized team of trial attorneys. Staff Attorneys are critical members of our team and directly support our prosecution of complex, high-stakes cases on behalf of individual plaintiffs.
Staff Attorneys are primarily responsible for managing e-discovery from preservation through review. They may have responsibility for researching and preparing memoranda on potential cases and/or assisting with client outreach. Staff Attorneys actively participate in preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials, and are closely involved in all other areas of our practice.
WHY US?Our trial attorneys are relentless advocates for our clients. We operate on a contingent-fee model, with an entrepreneurial culture that embraces new ideas. Here, creativity is celebrated, taking initiative is rewarded, and team members have a front-row seat into high-stakes legal matters that have an impact.
In recent years, our team has received recognition from numerous sources, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the National Law Journal, Best Lawyers, and Missouri Lawyers’ Weekly. Courts have referred to our work as “ground-breaking,” “unique and unparalleled,” and “historic,” and our practice has been labeled “elite.” As an example of the precedent-setting nature of our work, we filed the first excessive fee class actions on behalf of retirement plan participants (and have obtained the largest results in such cases), and in the last decade alone have obtained relief for clients valued at over $1.5 billion.
We have also won multiple unanimous victories on behalf of individual investors in the United States Supreme Court, including most recently in January 2022. Take a closer look at our track record at
